My Favorite Projects

Ever since I started working as an interior designer, I’ve placed my clients’ homes on the path of transformation through my state-of-the-art designs. I explore every corner of my clients’ living spaces to scope out creative possibilities to come up with the best use of existing dimensions. To be completely truthful, every project is special to me. I view each project as artwork that you have commissioned from me. I take inspiration from our discussions, your home, and location.  Take a look at my previous work and start imagining what I can create for you!

working with exceptional architecture in this Dresser kitchen

The owners of this stunning home in Verona WI wanted to update the kitchen area to feel more connected to the living and dining rooms. James Dresser the original architect of this home, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, had created interesting lines and beautiful windows focusing the view. We wanted to update the kitchen and dining room in keeping with this original intent. Using modern materials and keeping the focus on design created a new space that feels as if it has always belonged.

creating the delicate palette of this tranquil master bath

The homeowners desired to update the master bath to include more storage and create a spa-like oasis. The white on white color scheme was something that the client had always wanted to create but was apprehensive that it could come across as sterile or boring. Careful selections were made to fine-tune the finishes so that they would complement one another, and create gentle shifts in hue. The drama was added with bits of depth carried around the room while textural differences hold the viewer's interest. The master suite is now a streamlined, bright and relaxing retreat.

designing this organized mudroom and laundry for a busy mom

Designing for a very busy professional mother of two, my objective was to create a streamlined space that allowed for efficient workflow while creating a gathering place for the family. The result was reworking the kitchen and dining room into one with a multi-height island.

Next, we decided to open up the wall between the laundry and kitchen creating a much more usable laundry room with tons of storage.

This remodel was a joy to design. The homeowner had great ideas, and a fun, sophisticated taste. All this contributes to a newly organized area that will stand the test of time.

producing this mid-century living room transformation

A professional chef wanted to rework her home kitchen to allow her to conduct cooking classes at home while also improving the storage and function of the space. After visiting, we discussed opening up the wall between the living room and kitchen to provide a better flow for entertaining and to provide more storage. After meeting the requirements for the kitchen, I then created a new fireplace surround using brick face tile and adding a floating mantel. The living space was suited to the husband's love of clean mid-century design. Included in the new layout are a new service bar and drop zone. Soft white slab front cabinetry, Brushed gold atomic hardware and linen printed tile blend seamlessly with the kitchen while defining the separation of the living area.
This beautiful mid-century built home was brought up to date while keeping its' original charm and being infused with the homeowners' personality.

Will yours will be here next?
